Hi my name is Connie. I am the owner of Better Brows. I have worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 14 years. My line of work involves helping others with their physical needs to be stronger and independent in their daily lives. I have always been drawn to fashion and beauty and now I’ve found a way to help others feel more confident with better brows. Your new low maintenance brows will save you time out of your daily beauty routine. I am fully licensed and insured to make your brows better.

What to expect
First, you must make sure you pass the health clearance.
You will need to fill out the consent forms that were sent beforehand.
Before the appointment begins, Connie will provide a quick in-person consultation to discuss expectations and results of the treatment.
Some “before” pictures will be taken.
She then draws on the eyebrow shape using a special ratio measuring tool. Brows are measured perfectly to complement your unique face shape and size.
Next, Connie chooses the perfect color for your brows.
After you & Connie both agree with the shape & color for your brows, initial strokes are placed, then anesthetic is applied to reduce any discomfort.
Pigment is worked into each stroke to define the brow.
After, a pigment mask is left to absorb into the skin.
Once that’s finished, Connie will clean the area thoroughly. She will then show you the result and take “after” pictures.
After the service, she will apply healing cream onto your brows and go over the after-care instructions with you.
You can book your touch up/perfecting session at this time. This session is almost always needed to fill in spots that need a little more pigment or to make small adjustments, maybe even go darker.

“She was very professional and patient-making sure the brows were even and how you liked them. I LOVE my eyebrows.”

FAQ's
What's the difference between powder and ombre brows?
Both are shading techniques that can be done with a manual tool or a machine. They achieve a more defined make up look. A delicate shading technique using individually applied point of color, resulting in a bolder brow. The ombre effect creates a subtle blended transition that adds depth to brow and opens up the face. There is minimal skin invasiveness.

What are pixel brows?
Manually hand tapping pigment into the skin. Depending on the blades used, you can get hair-like strokes or a powdery finish. Unlike Microblading that cuts into the skin, pixel is less invasive and works with any skin type.

What is microblading?
Cutting into the skin with a small hand held blade to deposit hair like strokes. This technique is ONLY appropriate for blemish free, non-oily, immature skin
What are combination brows?
When you choose the combo brow technique, you will be getting a permanent makeup procedure that incorporates both hairstrokes and shading. By using a manual pen or a tattoo machine, strokes that look like eyebrow hair are created and powder-like effect is made between the strokes to mimic the appearance of natural brows.
Are PMU Brows worth it?
Yes! PMU brows have many benefits that will improve your daily routine and allow you to save so much time. Just think about all the time you will save penciling in your brows in the mornings. Brows are also smudge proof, waterproof, and stress free. For all these reasons they are totally worth the investment.
If I have previous PMU can I book an appointment?
Short answer, it depends. We will need to see some pictures without make-up to check the color and intensity of the previous work. Also, we might have to use some correction color, which results in an extra cost.
What if I have one brow that is naturally higher than the other, can PMU correct the asymmetry?
PMU can help even out the brows, but if they are very asymmetric it's best to keep some asymmetry. Brows are meant to be sisters not twins.
Is it painful?
We use a topical (gel) anesthetic to reduce discomfort, and allow you to relax during the procedure. In fact, some clients do fall asleep during the procedure as it can actually be relaxing. Additionally, you could experience some tenderness right after the procedure, which should go away within a few day after the procedure.
How many sessions will I need to perfect my brows?
Typically you would need the first session and 6-8 weeks later, a perfecting session (Touch-Up). The perfecting session is extremely important to ensure the best results. We use this session to set the shape and color and make any small adjustments if needed. After that it will depend on how your skin takes the color, but you will likely have to return 18-24 months later for a maintenance Touch-Up. But again, the timing for the second and any future touch-ups will vary for each person.
When can I apply makeup on my face after having my eyebrows tattooed?
You should not apply any powder-based makeup on your face or near your brows for at least three days after the procedure. After that, please try to avoid getting makeup in the eyebrow area because the skin is sensitive and healing, which means it can get easily infected. Consider the treated area like an open wound that needs time to heal. After at least two weeks, it is recommended to use brow powder instead of a brow pencil if you need to fill in some lighter spots.
What type of payment do you accept?
We take credit cards (3% charge added for fees) but Cash app, Apple pay, Venmo, Paypal and cash are accepted
